Litens Brazil Inaugurates Engineering Laboratory for Testing and Validation

Litens Brazil (LASA) inaugurated in August a new Testing and Validation laboratory. The event was attended by Flaviu Dinca, Vice President of Product Engineering, and Rob Barlow, Global Quality Director.

The lab will provide the ability to conduct tests locally, which is a highly valued advantage for the customers and is essential for the sourcing and development process. With the inauguration of LASA’s new engineering laboratory, they are ready to offer a more agile validation process.

This eliminates the need to send parts to other Litens units for testing, saving time and air freight costs. All this translates into faster and more efficient delivery, ensuring the satisfaction and trust of the customers.

Part of the new structure includes two machines manufactured by Litens, the ET 102 and ET 124, for pulley durability testing. These machines have also been adapted for high-frequency durability testing of ADTs and HDTs.

Additionally, the laboratory includes the ET099, equipment for durability testing, allowing the validation of ADTs and HDTs, with the capacity to test up to 24 items simultaneously.

Another piece of equipment in the laboratory is the ET150, used for durability testing in TBTs for vehicles with conventional belts or oil belt systems.

Finally, the ET155, popularly known as MTS, validates the load and damping functionality characteristics.

We thank everyone involved in this project. Together, we will continue to build a more promising and successful future for Litens.
