Responsible for accurately forecasting, reporting and communicating results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Lead the global annual budget planning process. Connect with global stakeholders in various ways to ensure agreement around intended outcomes/results and assess the organization’s direction in response to a changing environment.
Monitor sales performance to budget/forecast, identify opportunities for improvement and develop corrective actions through close collaboration with global sales team. Can anticipate potential disruptions and quickly advise on the impact and opportunity.
Plan, facilitate and implement ad hoc analysis to support decision-making, evaluate business initiatives, evaluate performance, etc.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as industry trends, competition landscape, and customer intelligence. Provide insights and recommendations to strategy development.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods utilizing customer input, sales Input, historical patterns and market intelligence, etc. to improve forecast accuracy.
Design, develop, and implement Power BI and KPI tracking reports. Advocate data analytics innovation(s) and actively collaborate on developing and advancing predictive models.
Work in collaboration with global business system group and regional plants to ensure reporting consistency on customer sales reports globally.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics) or a related field (i.e. Business, Finance).
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in managing sales forecasting or budget planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate internal and external industry data to Senior Management.
Must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Microsoft Power BI or data visualization experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Experience in automotive industry or manufacturing environment preferred.
